6 Days Delhi / Agra (Taj Mahal) Jaipur

Itinerary:


Day 01 Kuala Lumpur/ Delhi  (Dinner)
Depart to Delhi. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.

Day 02 Delhi / Agra (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Sightseeing of the old and new Delhi, visit Qutab Tower, India Gate and Raj Ghat. Qutab Tower dates back to the onset of Muslim rule in India and is a fine example of Afghan architecture.  India Gate is the majestic arch which is a war memorial of the Indian soldiers who died during the First World War. Raj Ghat is the last resting place of the Father of Liberation, Mahatma Gandhi.  After visiting the three historic spots, we will drive past the Embassy area, government buildings, President House, Parliament House and Red Fort. In the afternoon, proceed to Agra to check in to hotel.

Day 03 Agra / Jaipur (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Visit the famous Taj Mahal - described as the most extravagant monument ever built in the name of love. The mausoleum, built by Moghul Emperor Shah Jahan for his queen Mumtaz Mahal, is renowned for architectural magnificence and aesthetic beauty. Truly, it counts amongst man's proudest creations and is invariable in the list of the world's foremost wonders.

Next, head to Agra Fort, built by Shah Jahan in 1156 and completed in 1605. The fort is built alongside the Yamuna River and stretches almost 2.5 km. In the afternoon, its the drive to Pink City - Jaipur. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel.

Day 04 Jaipur (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
We begin with Amber Fort, a beautiful complex of palaces, halls, stairways, pillared pavilions, gardens and temples built by Maharaja Man Singh in 1952, later extended and completed by Jai Singhs. Next is the City Tour covering City Palace and Hawa Mahal. In the heart of the old city, the City Palace occupies a large area divided unto a series of court yards, gardens and buildings. A part of the palace has been converted into a museum. The seven story Chandral Mahal is the centre of the palace and commands fine views over the gardens and the city.

Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds was built in 1799 to enable the ladies of the royal household to watch the everyday life and processions in the city. Its five storey facade is decked with no less than 593 finely screeched windows and balconies.

We will drive past the business and residential areas.

Day 05 Jaipur / Delhi / Kuala Lumpur (Breakfast)
From Jaipur we will head to Delhi. Its free at leisure or you can do some shopping. After dinner, transfer to airport to depart for home.

Day 06 Kuala Lumpur
Back home with sweet memories of holiday.
